High performance, multi-mode flyback PWM controllers (CCM/QR/DCM) with adaptive switching frequency foldback for higher efficiency over the entire load range.At heavy or full load, it operates up to the maximum switching frequency, and when the load is reduced, the system reduces the operating frequency and achieves high efficiency by valley conduction in discontinuous mode. At no load, the IC will be in low power mode, thus reducing the standby power consumption of the system.
