SC81532Q is a USB Type-C and BC1.2 charging port controller that includes a synchronous step-down converter. It integrates a single USB current-limit switch and achieves 3A of output current across a wide input supply range, with excellent load and line regulation. SC81532Q integrates current-limited USB switch, which supports Apple 2.4A divider mode, DCP schemes for BC1.2, USB Type-C 5V@3A DFP mode and Type-A mode. SC81532Q also integrated negative temperature coefficient (NTC) to monitor the external PCB or other components’ temperatures. Fault condition protections include hiccup current limiting, output over-voltage protection (OVP), DP/DM/CC1/CC2 short-to-battery protection, and thermal shutdown. The SC81532Q is available in 22-pin 4mm X 4mm Wettable Flank Flip-Chip QFN packages.
