Synchronous, 80V Bi-directional Buck-Boost Controller with I2C
SC8708 is a synchronous buck-boost controller, which supports buck mode, boost mode and buck-boost mode. SC8708 has wide input range from 4.5V to 80V and wide output range from 5V to 80V. SC8708 also provides input current and output current monitoring function. Through I2C interface, user can program the output current limit, output voltage adjustment, and other parameters flexibly. Besides, the output current limit, output voltage and switching frequency could be set by external resistors. SC8708 supports frequency dithering to meet better EMI performance and integrates synchronization feature to switch under same frequency with external clock. SC8708 integrates 11-bit ADC to monitor voltage, current. Full protection is supported including input and output over_voltage protection, output over-current protection and over_temperature protection. SC8708 is available in a 5mm x 6mm QFN-36 Package.
